6 X 6 to 12 X 12 Progressive Scrapbook Page

25 Nov

I had fun creating this snow page.  It utilizes lots of punches (my favorite toys) and some fun ideas.

Stamp Sets:  Jumbo Outline Alphabet, Sock Monkey Accessories, Best Wishes & More, Punch Pals

Accessories:  buttons, natural hemp, chipboard frame, iridescent ice emboss powder, brocade blue stampin’ write marker

Punches:  1 3/4″ circle, 1 3/8″ circle, 1 1/4″ circle, 1/4″ circle, photo corners

Tip:  I always find it easier to start with a 6 X 6 page spread and then expand it into a 12 X 12 page.

Small Star punch

Word Window punch

Stamp Set used is the Short & Sweet Set.

New Year’s Resolution…A Little Early

17 Nov

This is so not like me to share a goal with everyone.  We’ll see if this helps me to stick to it!  I’m sure some of you will be more than happy to remind me when I forget.  Well, here it goes…My goal is to update my Stampin’ Up website gallery at least twice a week.  (Don’t forget, I have a website in addition to this blog.)  On the website, you can order online, view the current specials in more detail as well as the current catalog.  In addition, I have a different gallery of projects there.  So be sure to check out the site.  I’m off to a good start… I’ve added 5 new Christmas cards for your viewing pleasure today!

Reverse Spotlight Christmas Card

12 Nov

Sorry for the delay in my posting.  It was a very busy weekend surrounded by parent/teacher conferences.  On Friday, however, I did manage to get in some stamping with my downline.  We had a shoebox swap where each person brought a project for us to do.  The project below was designed by Jennifer Thorson.  It uses the technique of Reverse Spotlighting.  Basically, you stamp your image in black and the punch out circles at various locations.  Next, stamp the image on a color and cut out.  Then piece the image behind the circle so that it matches the original image.

Stamp Sets:  Christmas Classics and Holidays & Wishes

Ribbon:  White Taffeta died with the Olive Stamp Pad
