Big Shot Club and Classes

31 Jan

There are so many things to do with the Big Shot!  As a result, I’m excited to announce my new Big Shot Club & Classes.  Details are below.

Do you want to own your own Big Shot but don’t want to shell out the $$$ to pay for it all right now?  Or, do you just want to learn some new tricks with the Big Shot?  If so, then this is for you!

What: Each month at the class you’ll make three great projects featuring the Big Shot and Stampin’ Up!s dies.  You’ll learn new and creative uses for all of the different accessories.

When:  The club/classes will last 6 months and will meet on the following dates from 6:45 – 8:30 p.m.

Ø  Monday, February 23, 2009

Ø  Monday, March 30, 2009

Ø  Monday, April 20, 2009

Ø  Monday, May 18, 2009

Ø  Monday, June 22, 2009

Ø  Monday, July 13, 2009

Requirements: There are 3 different ways to participate…

1.      Acquire the Big Shot and some Dies ($256.26 value for $150… you’ll be receiving more than $150 in product, as well as, the $90 in classes free!  In addition, you’ll receive 10% off any Big Shot Dies or Accessories for the 6 months following the club!  That combined with a type of glorified lay-away plan is a great deal!)  Each month will be a $25.00 commitment, if you can’t make a month, your commitment still stands and you will still receive the project directions complete with pictures (if you have a friend who will make the projects for you, that’s ok, too.)   At the end of the 6 months, each person will go home with a Big Shot, the cutting platform, cutting mats, a $4.95 sizzlet of your choice, a $19.95 Bigz Die of your choice, a $15.95 original die of your choice,  and 18 different project ideas!   (If members of the club decide, it is possible that Big Shots will be distributed earlier than the end of the 6 months.)

2.       Already own a Big Shot or Just Want to Take the Classes?

  • Individual class cost is $15 or FREE with a $30 purchase. Reservations for a class need to be made at least 1 week prior to the class.
  •      Prepay for all 6 classes, cost is $70.00 (That’s a $20.00 savings!)

How to join?  Just give me at call…539-6212 or email me at stampone@charter.net

Dahlia Fold Card and Tutorial

28 Jan

This is a fun technique that requires two things…designer paper and a 1 1/4″ circle punch.  If you like the look, I’ve included a “how-to” pdf below.

Scissors and Tool Storage Solution

21 Jan

I know January is the month to get organized, so I thought I’d share one of my favorite storage solutions.  These magnetic strips are the perfect way to store your scissors, hand-held punches and other metal tools.  Of course, these come from IKEA (my favorite place for stuff like this!)   In case you’re interested, I’ve included the direct link for the online shopping.  What’s better is that they’re only $8.99!

Valentine Bundle Card

19 Jan

Here’s a Valentine card made with the new Love you Much stamp set, the new Candy Lane Designer Series paper, and the new Heart to Heart punch.  Colors used include Riding Hood Red and White.  In addition, I used the scallop envelope Big Shot die.

PVC Storage Solution

This is a great idea I found on the Studio 5 website.  It’s a video on how to build the system below.  You’ll find directions and everything.  It would be a perfect way to store stamps, ribbons, etc.

Happy New Year!

4 Jan

As I’m sure most of you who visit on a regular basis have noticed, I have definitely taken a holiday vacation!  Sorry if I haven’t had some fresh ideas for you.  In all honesty, I’ve been with my family at Disney World.  We had a great holiday!  Here are a couple photos of the place during Christmas!  Just give me a day or two and I’ll get back in the swing of things.

The castle was absolutely breathtaking!
