Big Shot – Scallop Dress

11 Jun

scallop dress

I originally saw this idea created by Patty Bennett and added my own twist to it.

1.  You will need two scallops cut with the Scallop Bigz Die.  I cut both of mine from Chocolate Chip Designer Paper.

2.  Next use the patterns, supplied here, and lay them on the scallop and cut out the apron.  Note: to have the pattern print in actual size, you must open the file, go to file, click print and then change the page scaling to NONE!

3.  The pocket is created from the small oval punch.

4.  The Baja Breeze background was created using the Texturz Plates Kit #4.

5.  Create the scallop border using the eyelet border punch.

6.  The Fabulous Friend tag was created by using the stamp set Oval All and the large oval punch and the scallop oval punch.

7.  Add finishing touches with the white grosgrain 1/4″ ribbon and the gold brads.

Big Shot Flip Flops

Today, my daughter, Haley and I had some fun with the Flower Daisies #2 Bigz die and the sparkly fun foam.  What do you think?  This project was inspired by my friend Melissa Stout who is a very creative demonstrator!

Fun Foam and the Big Shot…a match made in heaven !  This was fun to create and so VERY easy!  I had some extra time, so I got a package of fun foam and a $1 Huggie at Michaels and went to town!
