Sweet Centers Spider Treat

10 Oct

Here’s another Halloween idea for all of you who love this holiday!  Every year I find myself drawn to the Halloween ideas and sets.  I just can’t seem to get enough of the cute ghosts and goblins.  Funny thing is…I really don’t like the night of Halloween…go figure!

Directions:

To create the background…use the direct-to-paper technique.  This is done by simply pressing the ink pad right onto the paper.

To create the spider…

Punches:  1 ¾-inch circle, 1 ¼-inch circle, ¾-inch circle, photo corners

To create the spider legs, punch the small photo corner and move it over to get corner sliver.

To create the rest of the card…

  1. Stamp the Halloween image from the Sweet Treats stamp set and punch out the center.
  2. Add color with markers as desired.
  3. Trim the image so that only a small amount of white around the edge is showing.
  4. Apply adhesive around the center of the hole on the back of the image and insert cup.
  5. Add lemon heads candy and take off adhesive ring on cup.
  6. Put adhesive on the square of the black CS and apply to the opening of the cup.
