Easel cards are easy to do and make your cards even more special as they are something different.  This is my latest example of an easel card.  To create one, just start with a 4 1/4″ X 11″ sheet of card stock and follow the directions below.

Easel Card

Stamp Sets: Chocolate Bunny, All Holidays

Punches: Scallop Trim Border (Sale-a-bration), 1 ¼” Circle,

1” Circle

Designer Series Paper: Shades of Spring (Occasions Mini

Catalog)

  1. Fold the orchid opulence CS in half and then score the front of the card 2 ¾” from the bottom.
  2. Stamp the bunny on the cocoa CS using the chocolate chip craft ink.
  3. Pour clear embossing powder on top and shake off the excess into the tray.
  4. Using the heat tool, heat the powder until it is clear. (Please do not lay on the table to heat, it will scorch the table.)
  5. Cut out the bunny, he will be attached using dimensionals, the bow will be attached to his neck using a glue dot.
  6. Complete the rest of the card as shown.  Be sure to mount the inside circle piece and the saying with dimensionals.
  7. Note:  the inside bow is a faker bow.
  • Wrap a piece of ribbon around the edges of the pink CS and adhere to the back with your adhesive.
  • Tie another piece of ribbon on top

New Classes Announced

25 Mar

I’m excited to be offering a number of new classes in the coming months.  These classes include monthly Big Shot Classes (you don’t have to own one to enjoy these), two days of Stamp-a-Stacks, a Fancy Folds Class, and a Mom (Grandmom) and Me build-a-Bear Class.  Be sure to check out my Upcoming Classes Page for all the details.  I would also caution that the Fancy Folds Class is currently only being offered one night and the spaces are quickly filling.  I hope you’ll be able to join me for at least one of the classes!
