I finally got out my pop-up Look Here Big Shot Die to prepare for my Cards With Dimensions class and I must say, I absolutely love it!  Here’s one of the projects we did tonight featuring the Die.

Stamp Set: Party This Way

Big Shot Die: Pop-up Look Here, Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder

  1. Fold the  5 1/2″ X 8 1/2″ Pumpkin CS in half.
  2. Create designer series paper arrows by tracing the patterns on the desired paper and cut out.  If you  would rather, you can punch it out using the Big Shot die.
  3. Adhere these to the arrows.
  4. Fold the card insert on the score marks.  Fold center score line, creating a mountain fold, then fold side score lines creating a valley fold on each side.
  5. Fold small arrow on score mark so it pops up from bottom half of holder.  Accordion-fold the 3/8” X 1” piece and adhere one end behind the small arrow and adhere other end to the holder using glue dots.
  6. On the top half of holder, fold all score marks.
  7. Apply adhesive to the cut image, making sure not to get adhesive on pop-up sections.
  8. Adhere to card base, making sure that the 5/8” piece above folded middle meets up with the center fold of the card base.
  9. Run the saffron CS through the Big Shot using the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder.
  10. Stamp and cut out the balloons and arrow.  Layer and complete card as shown.  Use glue dots for the final bow.
