To get that shiny look on the fruit, just stamp and then cover the image with versamark (you can try stamping over it, or just do what I do…push the pad down directly on the paper.  Next emboss using your heat tool and then punch out the fruit with the 1-3/4″ circle punch.

Anything Goes

19 Feb

I can’t get enough of the Botanical Builder Framelits Dies!  Today over on SSInkspiration the post topic is “Anything Goes”  I knew I wanted to use these little gems.

I’ve included a couple of versions of the same card, just switched out the colors and designer series paper.  That brings up a good point, the Botanical Gardens Designer Series Paper is awesome too!  In addition, the Botanical gardens Designer Washi Tape coordinates perfectly.  I used that on the bottom of each of the tags.

Tea Tag

Tea Tag W

I just LOVE the Cups & Kettle Framelits Dies and the coordinating “A Nice Cuppa” stamp set.  It reminds me of the little tea set I played with as a child.  Stay tuned though, I’m still trying to figure out how to put the knife, fork, and spoon framelits to use!  Anyway, this is a quick little tag to put together for anyone who enjoys tea.  For other tag ideas, be sure to visit the  SSInkspiration Blog today.

Botanical Gardens Washi

3 Feb

I love making quick cards using washi tape.  Just stick and tear!  This card uses the Botanical Gardens Designer Washi Tape and the Botanical Builder Framelits (love, love, love these!)20160202_202107

I always like it when the inside of the card is decorated too and by cutting through the washi on the front and mounting the flower behind I was able to accomplish that with one flower.

I did attach a flower center to the front, as well as on the flower itself.

To see other washi tape samples, be sure to check out today’s post on the SSInkspiration Blog.
