Wherever You Go

30 Jun

I really like the new set, Wherever You Go.  I love the look of the sun shining beyond the bridge.  In addition, I’m always looking for a set that can lean towards the masculine side, and I feel this one can.

For more sunshine in your day, check out what the other demonstrators have created on the SSINKspiration Blog.  Here’s my creation.   It’s very straight-forward stamping which is great when it comes to making a quick card!  The colors are navy and Sahara sand along with crushed curry.

Happy 4th Art

Some of my favorite things to create are 12 X 12 frame-able seasonal displays.  This is my 4th of July creation.  I thought this was going to be challenging because there really are no 4th of July stamps in the current Stampin’ Up! catalog and I was designing this for my club members to recreate.  Once I got started, however, I had so much fun playing and using my stamps and framelits in ways they really weren’t meant to be used!

Curtain Fold Card

I just love this Pop of Pink Specialty Designer Series Paper!  Anything pink is good, but add black with it and it’s even better!  Now, if I can add a simple fold, in this case, the curtain or as some call it drapery fold and a sentiment stamp I’ve got a card that pops!  Today on the SSINKspiration  blog, the designers are featuring their favorite new DSP.  I’ve gotta admit, picking just one was tough!  (I also really love the Foral Boutique DSP.)  If you’re unfamiliar with how to do this fold, be sure to download the tutorial below and you can replicate this card in no time!
